My Dad use to make three things when I was a kid – steak on the grill, navy bean soup and French toast. And my favorite of course was his French toast. He made the absolute best French toast I’ve ever had. He always used a real French baguette and never too much sweetness. Being a military man, he always woke up early and at least once a week I’d awake to the smell of him making the most glorious French toast topped with fresh fruit and drizzled with maple syrup.

Now that I have kids I’m trying to carry on that love I shared with my Father for French toast too.  Many times I make French toast the traditional way, but I also like to change it up every once in a while. This French toast casserole is a favorite for my kids and it’s so easy for me to make. I can make it the night before and place it in the fridge overnight to bake in the morning. I love it!

This casserole is made simply with a day old French baguette, eggs, milk, blueberries, vanilla and Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer. Just chop up the bread and combine it with all the other ingredients and place it in a casserole dish. Then place it in the fridge overnight so that all the bread socks up the liquid.

The next morning just place the casserole in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes or until it’s golden and set. I like to serve this with warm maple syrup and a little whipped cream too, because why not! Your whole family will love this casserole and it’s also perfect to make when you have company stating at your house. It makes the whole house smell wonderful.

For this recipe I used Dunkin’ Donuts® Extra Extra Creamer. It adds a subtle sweetness and extra creaminess that only Dunkin’ Donuts® can provide. I also love this creamer for my morning coffee. It’s my go-to creamer that’s made with real sugar, milk and cream for a wonderfully rich and smooth taste. It’s the perfect choice for coffee purists that’s extra creamy and extra flavorful.

There’s also a Dunkin’ Donuts® Caramel Creamer and Dunkin’ Donuts® Vanilla Creamer I know you”ll love! Dunkin’ Donuts® Caramel Creamer is made with only real cane sugar for an authentic caramel taste. It’s like stirring homemade caramel sauce into your coffee cup! Dunkin’ Donuts® Vanilla Creamer is perfect for that first cup in the morning and every cup after! It’s the perfect balance of rich vanilla flavor and an extra smooth creamer.

You can find all the  Dunkin’ Donuts® creamers in the Dairy isle of your local Walmart at a great price.
