Sea-Band Mama

sea band mama

It’s been a while since I’ve been pregnant, but those memories of morning sickness every morning noon and night are still with me. You see I’m the kind of person who usually doesn’t get sick. Before getting pregnant with my son I hadn’t thrown up in nearly 10 years. I was a teen and gotten a really bad flu at school during Christmas break. It was a Christmas I’d love to forget.

But all those pregnancy hormones got me, and I was throwing up 3 – 4 times a day in the first trimester. I tried lots of different home remedies, and the only thing that seemed to help was eating lots of small meals. The only problem is early in pregnancy, all I was craving was fast food and sweet treats.

Fortunately by the second trimester, my cravings for fruits and vegetables came back, and I was able to eat more healthy. But I had to continue to eat those small meals throughout pregnancy, especially as the baby grew. If I overate in the least bit, I would get the worse case of heartburn. And yes my little guy had a whole lotta hair when he was born!

You know they talk about cravings during pregnancy, like pickles and ice cream, or other weird combos. I’ve never had any odd cravings though. Honestly, many of the foods I crave when I’m not pregnant could be considered a little odd, like sardines in hot sauce or salt and vinegar pork rinds. If anything, being pregnant made me eat less flavorful things.

For instance, my son didn’t like me to eat spicy foods, raw onions, or other really strong spices. But he did go crazy for garlic, so I ate enough garlic filled foods when I was pregnant to ward off an army of vampires. My breath must have been horrendous, lol!

I’ve got several friends who are pregnant right now and they’ve told men about these great new products from Sea-Band Mama, amazing new products made for pregnant women from the maker of popular motion sickness line of Sea-Band products. They have these drug-free morning sickness wrist bands and anti-nausea ginger lozenges. They say both these products really work and they’ve been having great results with them. I really wish I had known about these products back then.
