Fall Brunch Tablescape with Nancy’s Pumpkin Petite Stuffed Bagels

This time of year is such a great time to connect with friends and family. The fall is so perfect because the weather is cooler, we’re preparing for the holidays and getting ready for the new year. And my favorite way to entertain effortlessly this time of year is with a simple weekend brunch.

While going out to brunch with friends can be really fun, I much rather host a brunch from home. You don’t have to wait for a table, it’s much cheaper, and you get to enjoy your own home! You can make a few simple dishes yourself and serve them with fresh fruit, coffee and juice. Or you can have everyone make a dish and have a pot-luck style brunch.

Here I have created a simple autumn tablescape that’s perfect for a fall brunch with friends. I’ve pulled out Grandma’s pretty china and used some cute pumpkins for a little centerpiece. Then I used some simple little napkin holders and placed these adorable little plaid pumpkins and green foliage on top with hot glue.

For brunch foods, I like to keep it simple. Quiche is my go to main dish for brunch. I take a pre-made pie crust and add a cup of milk, half and half or cream and two eggs whisked together and then just add whatever veggies, herbs and/or meats sound good to me at the time. Or more honestly, whatever’s in the fridge and looks fresh! Then I bake it for about and 45 minutes and serve with lots of fresh fruits and a few little treats. This Pumpkin Quiche is a great fall recipe that always impresses.

And did you see that little plaid dog on the table? Too cute right? It adds a touch of whimsy and is a great conversation starter.
