Levana Stella Video Baby Monitor Giveaway

This week is pretty exciting for our family. We go Wednesday to get our first sonogram of the baby, and will find out if it’s a boy or a girl! I’m really excited to find out because almost everyone close to us is convinced it’s a girl, including me. Although, I’ll be happy either way, so long as the baby is healthy.

And when we find out the sex, we’ll be able to move along with the nursery. You can see below, we haven’t done much. I put in some clean fluffy carpet, a new fan and painted the trim. We’ve got some paint samples in the wall, but wanted to confirm if it’s a boy or girl before we make any definitive decisions.

I’m leaning towards that light green color in between the two pinks, I think it’s so calming and would make a pretty pink and green color scheme for a girl or cute blue and green scheme for a boy. I’m still not sure what complimentary color to put in that book case.

Most of the baby stuff and gear, we’re reusing from my son. The one thing that I did unpack and kind of got depressed about was my old baby monitor. It was a yard sale find that didn’t work that well, so when the people at Levana contacted me about trying out their video baby monitor, I was like “Yes Please!”

Levana is a brand of high-tech, stylish and reliable baby video monitors that give parents the freedom to do more knowing their child is safe. They sent me the Stella Video Monitor with 2 Cameras. You can either put both cameras in two different areas in your child’s room, or use a camera in 2 different rooms, which is what we’ll be doing.

When my son was a baby, we lived in our two story townhouse. So instead of relying on my undependable baby monitor, and leaving him upstairs in his room, I never let him out of my site. He was either in his playpen downstairs napping, napping in the vibrating bouncer,  napping in a laundry basket full of warm clothes while I showered (you’d be surprised how good that works!) or of course, in my arms. That meant I didn’t get much of anything done those first two years.

I can’t wait to use this video monitor and be able to leave the baby napping in his/her own room, while I escape to my office, kitchen or laundry room for a few minutes to get some work done. I love knowing that I will be able to not only hear clearly, but also SEE my baby. This monitor even lets you control the camera’s direction. So you can search around the room for your little one and even zoom in on what they’re up to!

Here’s the little watchful eye. You can set it on a shelf, a piece of furniture, or even mount it to the wall. And this little camera even has invisible LED night vision, which means you can watch your  baby in the dark, up to 12 feet away!

And with this little video monitor, you can noot only see them clearly, but also talk to them with the two- way communication and even play them a lullaby!

This system is also upgradable and can grow with your family. You can add up to four cameras to this set-up, one of each kid!

And my favorite feature of this baby monitor, over my old one is that it has a private, secure and interference-free digital signal that no one but you can access.
